Octavio Ballesta

Octavio Ballesta es Ingeniero Geólogo, Master en Ciencias de la Computación y Egresado del Programa Avanzado de Gerencia del IESA. Ha asumido distintas posiciones como consultor y líder en proyectos de Tecnología y Gestión del Talento para importantes empresas en los sectores de Petróleo y Energía, Ingeniería y Construcción, Tecnología, y Educación. Sus ideas acerca de la evolución de RRHH como socio estratégico del negocio y agente clave de transformación empresarial se expresan en su blog Talento en Expansión, galardonado con el premio Plata de la Blogosfera de RRHH en 2013, y con el premio Bronce en 2014. Octavio Ballesta es Asesor, Profesor Invitado, y Facilitador en procesos de gestión del talento, liderazgo, negociación y toma de decisiones empresariales.

Octavio Ballesta, a qualified Geological Engineer with a Master in Computer Science and a graduate of the Advanced Management Programme, IESA (a Spanish public scientific research institute). He has deep experience from different positions as a technology and talent management consultant and project leader for major companies in the oil and energy, engineering and construction, technology, and education sectors. His ideas on the evolution of HR as a strategic business partner and key business transformation agent are expressed in his blog, Talento en Expansión (Talent Expansion), receptor of the HR Blogosphere silver award in 2013, and the bronze in 2014. Octavio Ballesta is currently advisor, visiting professor and facilitator in processes for talent management, leadership, negotiation and business decision making.
